Kosher @ CAL : Café 3 in Unit 3 Residential Complex!
After almost 10 years of working with CAL Dining to increase kosher options across campus and in the Dorms, we are proud to announce that the main island station at Café 3 in the Unit 3 Residential Complex (Between Telegraph and Dana & Channing and Durant) will be serving delicious hot kosher meals beginning Sunday, August 21st, supervised by the Vaad HaKashrut of Northern CA and Rabbi Leeds.  The café will be open for lunch from 10am – 2pm and for dinner from 5pm – 9pm.  The café is open to all students (even without a meal plan) and will be open 7 days a week.  Menu highlights include Traditional Brisket, Roasted Turkey with Gravy and Cranberry Sauce, Roast Leg of Lamb, Roast Chicken, Herb Crusted Salmon, Sushi Bowl Bar, and Mediterranean Bar.  Please contact Rabbi Leeds if you would like to be a server/work at the Café and apply at this link.   We want to thank CAL Dining and UC Berkeley for going the extra mile for our Jewish community and providing delicious nourishing meals to feed not just the physical body, but also the spiritual soul.  Please make sure to stop by Café 3 and enjoy the kosher food!
